PROOFREADING: Checks basic grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting issues before publication.
Price Per Word: $0.008 (That’s $80 per 10,000 words)
COMPREHENSIVE EDITING: Provides the detailed editing your manuscript needs, short of major rewrites or very special circumstances.
Price Per Word: $0.015 (That’s $150 per 10,000 words)
DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING: Helps develop very raw, early draft texts and is concerned with content development, structure, and heavy rewriting.
Price Per Word: $50 to $80 per 2500 words
Price ranges for Developmental Editing depend on manuscript evaluation.
*$50 Minimum on all projects.
NOTES:
- Electronic content, such as from a website, will be copied/pasted into a Word document to obtain an accurate word count.
- New customers and students receive a discount:
- New customers receive 20% off comprehensive editing over $250 and 10% off proofreading.
- Repeat customers receive a 10% discount on their second project or anytime they refer someone else.
- Discounts will automatically be calculated based on the information provided on the Submission Form.
